The shit hit the fan in Buffalo last night. Highlight of the clip is when Ray Emery sees the Sabres goalie skating his direction - looks like he can't wait to throw some punches. Apparently, there is an unwritten rule in hockey that you can't fight a goalie unless you're a goalie, obviously that rule was broken. They play each other again in Ottowa tomorrow night - might wanna tune in.

Catfish Haven :: Tell Me
Catfish Haven is a backwoods, southern rock, soul trio out of Chicago that is nothing short of fantastic. Their music is inspirational, enthusiastic, and they have a super thick sound for being a trio. I have been playing the song "Let It Go" non-stop for the past couple days. They are playing in Dallas on March 13th, then doing SXSW in Austin. Plus, they have a pretty awesome name that completely fits their music. Available on itunes. Enjoy it.

New Tracks from The Go Find.
If you have ridden in my car for a road trip, there is a very good chance you've heard The Go Find. The Go Find is basically a one man band from Belgium and his first album is one of my all time favorites, Miami released in 2004. I think I did a post on it last year sometime. It is incredibly underrated - for some reason it never really got reviewed or any exposure. Well anyway, a new Go Find is coming out in April and here are a couple of it's tracks -- they're worth grabbing.

Bluegrass Tribute To The Shins
Here are a couple samples of a Bluegrass Tribute to the Shins. I really enjoy these bluegrass tributes and this one is not an exception. Just recently picked up the bluegrass tribute to Wilco and the version of Summerteeth is greatness. Great easy listening. Speaking of the Shins, the new album is really, really good - keep a look out for it.

Mooninites terrorize Boston! In other news, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law linked to Al Qaeda cell.
Since when do lightbrights looks like a weapon of terror? What a bunch of horse shit. Here is a link to the story in case you haven't heard about it.I kinda think that this is a pretty cool idea, the art direction on the devices looked pretty cool as well. It's a good way to get some press about the show, but I guess they are getting a little too much press now. If I wasn't familiar with Aqua Teen Hunger Force, I would just assume that these signs are either graffiti or an art installation. Here's a pic of the two guys who were arrested for installing the ads.
These two look like they would be too preoccupied playing Tiger Woods and eating peanut M&Ms to hatch any kind of a terrorist plot. It's pretty startling that something so trivial can cause such an uproar. Are people out there really this paranoid? What a bunch of lame asses. Here is some Mooninite greatness, in case your not familiar.

This is one of the best plug-ins that I have seen. What if I were to tell you that you can have a calendar in your iTunes that let you know when artists in your library are coming to your hometown... would that be something you would be interested in? I was definitely interested, and now I found that Andrew Bird is coming to Gypsy in March... which will be greatness. This is a must have - everyone out there should download the plug-in. And don't give me the old "Oy Brent, I don't understand computer technology..." it's so easy even a caveman could do it. Enjoy!
