Here are a couple samples of a Bluegrass Tribute to the Shins. I really enjoy these bluegrass tributes and this one is not an exception. Just recently picked up the bluegrass tribute to Wilco and the version of Summerteeth is greatness. Great easy listening. Holy smokes! Awesome! I was having a pretty cap morning, but these have put me in a much better mood.
Have you heard the Bluegrass tribute to The Knives?
no but that sounds really interesting - would def. like to check that out. been rocking out to "You Take My Breath Away" tons lately.
The "Pickin' on Modest Mouse" album is pretty good also.
