Youtube Greatness :: Weirdest Voice Ever!

I have been looking for this clip for a while now... finally just found it on youtube... if you are a fan of the Ticket, you may recognize it as one of Bob and Dan's frequently used drops.
The other day I was looking at the blog and I kinda realized that recently I have been kinda "mailin' it in" and just posting a lot of youtube vids. Sure the videos are entertaining, but I need to get back to putting up more original content. For the new year anticipate more original content, original videos (got a really cool one brewing right now), and maybe a weekly Stay Classy comic strip - working on it.

New Music :: The Whitest Boy Alive.

The Whitest Boy Alive is the newest album from the camp of Erlend Oye. You may know him as half of the Kings of Convenience, or from his dance album -- DJ Kicks. Both of which are great. TWBA is a pretty big departure from what he has done before, and may actually be my favorite project of his yet. If you like melodic, dialed down pop - check it out. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Just talked with Brundage and found out that their birthday is actually on the 13th... but you get the idea.

Regina Spektor tonight @ the Gypsy.

Planning on heading down to this show tonight, going to be a good one I think. If you plan on going, make sure you get there sorta early -- doors open at 7 00, and I imagine she will go on around 8 30.

Dale Hansen is a little kid.

This won Dunham and Miller's Emergency Break of the Week last week... Dale Hansen throws a fit because he doesn't get to deliver the news that the Cards won the World Series... what a jerk off.

Faith Hill gets pwm3d at the CMA's

It turns out someone assured Faith Hill that she was gonna win female vocalist of the year at the CMAs last night... To her surprise, the award goes to Carrie Underwood. Pretty great moment caught on tape, very Zoolander-esque.

Luda-loo : He-Man

He-Man used to rule my life as a youngster... Ludacris has put together a He-Man song sampling the cartoon theme. It't actually not that bad and has a pretty sweet hook. Check it out if you want, link courtesy of Spine Magazine. My favorite He-Man figurine was Moss Man. You probably remember him as the guy covered in green fur and smelled like a pine tree:
That was until I put him in the Slime Pit and ruined him:
I think I also ruined the carpet in my bedroom as well... Check out the link below.

Just what I was afraid of... Minok.

My friend (and fellow art director), Lawrence Reynolds from the Locke is one hell of an artist. He is also one hell of a Star Wars fan. He has been working on a huge portfolio of acrylics of all the Star Wars characters - it's beauty and grandeur is only rivaled by the flora and fauna of the planet Naboo. The only one he hasn't done yet that I am looking for is Boba Fett... still looking for Boba, Lawrence. He gave me a print of his Obi Wan Kenobi portrait, which I display proudly. He has a built a site to showcase his portfolio which you can check out at: VividFury.com
There is also some cool Superman/Smallville art to check out as well. Here is another favorite of mine from the Star Wars series.
Since we are on they subject of Star Wars -- I thought I would toss this up, as I found it quite jovial (not 100% sure I used that in the right context).
