New Music Tuesday!
Two of our favorite dance 'til you drop bands have leaked new singles off their upcoming albums. Big fan of both tracks - Ghostland has been playing Heavy Heart at the past couple shows I have been to and it stuck out - maybe because of the awesome break down in the middle of the track where the Phantom of the Opera pipe organ is roaring. Enjoy!

There are a ton of great bands strolling through this neck of the woods in the coming months... We've got the great Band of Horses playing this weekend at the Paladium... I am not really a fan of the venue - but it will be nice to see BoH for the first time. Then we've got Bang Camaro, which is a can't miss! Really excited about that one - Cambridge is a super small venue, will be a huge party! Okkervil, Jens, Wilco, and the great Radiohead... the four top artists of 2007 all within a month!

Runnin' With The Devil!
So... this is pretty genius. I am huge fan of old Van Halen, one of my favorite tracks is Runnin' With The Devil. My hometown radio station used this as the lead in music to every high school sports broadcast for years and years, probably still using it today. Somehow, some sound engineer found the multitracks of the song and pulled just David Lee Roth's vocals without the rest of the music. The Ticket played this last week, and I almost had to pull over on the way home I was laughing so hard, you'll love it! Kind of a mean trick to play, but wow this is awesome.

and here's the original music video for the sake of awesomeness.

M.I.A. :: Paper Planes
This should have been included in the top tracks of 2007, but I didn't get the album until after the New Year. The whole thing is pretty good, but this track rocks.

The biggest ass whip of 2007.
2007 was a pretty great year for a lot of things - music, movies, etc. However, there were a couple bits of cultura that I had a very strong distaste for, right up there with Soulja Boy was this...
