What have we learned here today?
Yep that's Eddie Griffin, and yes that's an Enzo Ferrari... which cost around $2 mil. I think. My favorite part of the video is when he plows the Ferrari into the wall.

New Music :: The Bees (U.S.)
Wow, it has been a pretty good while since I have put up a blog. Been kinda busy lately, and also haven't really had much blog worthy material to post. In the downtime I did check out Andrew Bird at the Gypsy with Cold War Kids. Both were really great, Andrew Bird's live show is really interesting. The Four Left Turns also played a rockin' St. Patty's day party for hours and hours on Saturday afternoon... hopefully someone took some shots of the gig so I can post 'em.
Alright, now back to the new music... This band is a recent find and has quickly turned into a favorite of mine - The Bees. The Bees (U.S.), not The Bees (U.K.) - apparently there is another indie alt. country band from the UK called The Bees as well. This album came out in '06 - if I had been aware it then, it would have def. made the Stay Classy Top 20 of 'o6. Maybe would have even broke the top 5. I guess you could say that their sound is heavily influenced by 70's A.M. pop... lots of a harmonizing and sweet 70's synth. Here's a sample of one of their tracks, it's the only one I could find and the quality is kinda rough... doesn't really do the song justice. You can buy the real album on iTunes, and you should because the whole thing is great. Plus they are way under the radar - so you can feel like a cool guy when you enlighten your other music savvy friends on the greatness of The Bees.

Ruidoso Trip: Hello... We Just Moved Here!
Well... the Ruidoso trip was a smashing success. As you can see, we had a pretty great time. We found these suits in a closet at the cabin at about 2 30 in morning. This was after Phil got us kicked out of the bowling alley by trying to belly slide down the lane. The next day we dawned the gear and descended onto the mountain. We got a lot of really confused looks all day. Def. heard a couple guys say "Check out these guys", also heard one guys say about me, "Now that is a ski suit."
Cody had a pretty genius comment that onlookers were thinking one of three things. 1) These guys are the biggest group of tools ever. 2) These guys are European. 3) These guys are genius. We tried to push the European card. We decided that we were four very enthusiastic German guys who had just moved to Ruidoso were interested in becoming ski instructors. They love skiing because, "Skiing is all about having awesome fun and a really good time." They also love living the in the mountains because, "New ski bunnies come here every weekend!" Expect a pretty serious Shreddin' video from the trip sometime in the next couple days.
