Weekend photos.
I recently picked up a new camera, a Nikon D40x - it is awesome. Anyone out there interested in getting into photography, I highly recommend going with the D40. It's durable, pretty powerful, and isn't too complicated to use. I went to New Braunfels and Gruene this weekend, here are some of the photos. I am headed to Montana next week, so expect more photo blogs.

Awesome. Great photos. You should get a Flickr account. It's great for sharing photos. You pay $24.95 one time for an unlimited year membership. You can also link the little Flickr badges to your blog... I like it a lot.

haven't been doing it very long, about a week.
i really enjoy it though, gonna do a lot shooting this week in Montana.
I'm actually in the market right now. What size lens(es) are you using?
i only have a basic 18-35mm nikkor lens, seems to work well though. Nikon also makes an 18-200mm lens, it's supposed to be great, but it's like $600.
