Decembersists live @ Gypsy Tea Room tonight.
The Decemberists are playing tonight at the Gypsy. I have a schedule conflict, but I hope I will be able to make out for the show. I haven't ever seen them, but enjoy their music immensely.Their new album Crane Wife is excellent and has been met with critical acclaim across the spectrum.

did you make the show?...decemberists are great live..a couple other talking points:
check out Ray Barbee. he is a pro skater and a musician. he does music for skate movie soundtracks. not at all what you'd expect. really chill, atmospheric, fusion type shit ("gotta lay some drum and bass shit down")....solid background music
also, are you in austin for panic?..go to their site and look at the recent set lists (you can buy MP3s from shows the night before)..they are playing alot of old school dirty panic..i just downloaded Birmingham 2006, YIKES..
